Door Beyond War Organization, in partnership with the Youth for Change Network, launched the Young Voices project. The project seeks to elect youth representatives in specialized fields identified according to the results of the polls and dialogue sessions, and through a participatory process that simulates parliamentary life. In order to empower youth and provide them with opinion poll skills; So that they then, in a practical way, survey the opinions of (400) young men and women, and then the youth underwent interactive training on parliamentary life and elections, as well as on dialogue and debate skills, to result in the first draft exercises that were presented to the leaders of the volunteer teams and representatives of the committees, and then they were presented to (400) young men and women from the community, after several direct meetings with them, as the number of dialogue sessions reached (20) sessions before it was approved in the current format.

It should be noted that the project at this stage is an experiment project that seeks to elect representatives of the youth and aims to enhance participation among the volunteer teams, so we selected (20) volunteer teams from different regions and various specializations, and the teams were also diverse in terms of size and in terms of the date of establishment. At this stage, it was enough to discuss with (20) teams to reach more feasible and in-depth outputs that contribute to developing and testing an election mechanism that can be adopted and repeated in the future on a larger scale.

It should also be noted that a larger number of volunteer teams participated in the stage of opinion polls and dialogue sessions, and their opinions were taken into account, and that a larger number of teams will participate in the election process and will also participate in the activities of the initiatives later. Currently, only candidates from (20) teams will be satisfied at this stage, as they attended training on the elections and developed an electoral mechanism, and they must test the mechanism in all its stages and evaluate it before reaching an approved mechanism at the end of the election process to be circulated in the coming years.

While all members of the teams registered on the platform will have the right to participate in the election process within the criteria of the electorate mentioned in the electoral process paper.
